Wittman field (KOSH) to expand by 200 acres?

Isn't Brennard Farm where the seaplane base is located? Might allow some more permanent improvements if it is acquired.

I'm not sure. I think the proposed property acqusition on both the southeast and southwest is adjacent to the airport, but I think the seaplane base is a little farther away. I think there are some roads and a fair amount of land between the airport and Lake Winnebago.

The attached picture is of the land and lake East of KOSH during climb out from runway 9 (not during AirVenture). I think the seaplane base is in that area.

Kent may know and chime in as I think he spent some time there.

Not the seaplane base. The Seaplane Base is private land which is owned by the Vette and Blust families. http://www.oshkoshseaplanebase.com/

The county has eyed the purchase of two properties, the 115.7-acre Brennand Farm to the southeast of the airport and the 78.9-acre Glaatz farm to the southwest of the airport, and has secured appraisals on both parcels.

Brennand (79C) is in the Neenah outskirts, and it's owned by Ted VanderWielen.
