I've always liked the glider sequence from the old version of "Thomas Crown Affair" and tonight I found it.

Just for kicks I looked up the N-number and it's still registered.

Well, I'm sure one of us is.
Nah, Steve McQueen was never quite my type, but Paul Newman....

On a scary note, I always thought of Steve McQueen as being a older guy, but I just looked him up in Wikipedia and he died when he was the age I am currently.

He also apparently owned an airplane.

Wikipedia said:
Owned and flew a 1931 Pitcairn PA-8 biplane, once flown as part of the U.S. Mail Service by famed WWI ace, Eddie Rickenbacker. It was hangared at Santa Paula Airport an hour northwest of Hollywood.

Nice find.

They made it a little more fun in the remake (by putting them both in the plane), but the original film still rules.
As does McQueen.

I check the Speed channel from time to time to see if they're running On Any Sunday. I love that movie!
