No, this is only hypothetical...lol. Money would certainly be a factor but in light of the Powerball thing was just thinking 'what if'?
So I'm the person that is happy with what he has. I have a 2018 2500 Ram and a modest middle class house. If I won the Powerball I would probably move and would pay off all debts but that's about it. I would probably look more seriously into getting my PPL and my own plane.
That being said, what got me interested was watching 310 Pilot on youtube. Out of the blue it appeared on my youtube homepage so I decided to watch it...and started watching more. The 310 Cessna seems like it would be pretty high on my list but also saw the Beechcraft Baron 58. That would be up there too. So tonight me and my wife were talking the 'what if' talk and she mentioned a jet. I don't think I'd be interested in a jet anyway but that got me thinking...does flying a jet take a special rating? Does the multi-engine rating cover it or is there a specific one for jets? Not talking commercial airliners, just a citation or something for personal use. And like I said above, I'm not the type to be over the top even if I had the money so a jet isn't even on my list.
But what other planes are comparable to the 310 or Baron 58 in terms of twins and 6 seater?
Just a for fun thread...lol
