When flowcharts are too difficult to figure out...

I like it. About the only thing I'd like to see added would be hyperlinks for the FAR references.

And maybe to help pound this into the viewers noggin, a history of the choices they made. So the path toward "yes you can log" is better learned and ingrained.

My favorite flow chart has all the usual: "Did you mess with it?", works past "Did anyone see you?", and ends with "You're f****ed".

There's actually a small POA Easter egg in there if you look close and you've been around while.
 
Actually, most flowcharts I've seen make things more complicated than they are. I have one I use in my talks on the FAA enforcement process. It runs from initial inquiry to the federal courts. When I get to the screen, I describe it as a simplification and it always gets the intended laugh.

That's actually one of two exceptions that I'm going to address when I get some more time.

If one really delves into it, one can come up with a pretty tortuous reading of the regs to justify it, but there really is no regulatory basis for it. It's simply an accepted convention to highlight the accomplishment. Schrödinger’s cat is as good an explanation as any. Come to think of it, it's better than most :D

Alright, updated to expand on a few things, like when your 10 year old is flying the plane, or if you're rec or sport, or on a check ride. And yes even ATP - which some of you won't like the answer, but most should.

Depends on the situation. Students can only log PIC when solo (or on their check ride). What answers did you give to which questions?

Well it says yes on my computer (solo). Maybe I messed up when i tried it on my phone! Sorry!

Probably fat fingered the yes/no. I did the same on my phone. Putting the phone in landscape seems to help.
