Flew to FKL for dinner yesterday. This plane pulled in while we were eating. I couldn't find a make or model written anywhere, but the door was marked "Experimental." Any ideas?

Also saw the Continental flight come in while we were getting ready to go. He landed, dropped his pax, and was most of the way taxied back to the runway before my pax and I got strapped in. Talk about a quick turn!

Yea, thats an Epic! One fine machine!!!!

That's a Gulfstream 1900 (the ”Continental” plane). If their rules are anything like ours were for the 1900, their target (minimum) turn time is 10 mins. It can be done in 5, though, as long as the station is ready for you and you can leave one engine running.

+1 on that Epic. BEAUTIFUL machine!

Oh, jeepers that's shootin' fish in a barrel. That's an Epic Turboprop. Nice lookin' outside, the inside is kinda spartan for that class vehicle. I sat in the factory demo at AOPA Hartford.

They left one running and the ground crew was waiting for them before they touched the ground. I also didn't see all that many people get in or out.

The Epic sure looked nice. I couldn't identify the owner, so I didn't get a look inside, but it looks like it slips through the air like it's not even there.
