So I'm up here in the Absaroka Mountains

With essentially no internet. I log in for the first time in a couple days, and see our most prolific poster, Whitney, with "ejection handle pulled". What happened?! Where am I going to get those sweet, sweet likes now?

From some other troll pretending to be someone they’re not, I assume :D

You’re in that beautiful place and you’re on POA? Man, you are loyal! :)

From me, for starters; but that's for the holiday snaps, not for discussing a ban. ;)

Nauga,
indoors
So how does Whitney rate the Ejection Handle [serious]?

can't a member request it ("Ejection Handle")?

Shouldn’t it be “ejected handled pulled” when someone chooses to leave and “jettisoned” when they are booted out?

I know, I know, “first rule about bannings is don’t talk about bannings”. I’ll stop.

I wonder what the longest run was from join to ejection? And did they come back?

EHP = banned? Hennigan was way before my time, so he was banned?

Do you by chance mean "Henning"? Yes, he was banned and I don't think anyone ever questioned why.
On the other hand, I met Henning several times and I really liked the guy, even if he was one of the weirder people I knew. I believe he was almost as smart as he thought he was.

But I wish we were allowed to ask why Whitney was banned.

Yes, thanks. Hennigan is Doug Stanhope's manager.

Henning's posts were pretty interesting to me.

Haven't met any POAers irl yet, maybe at Oshkosh since I'll be there all week, a few things permitting and lining up.

You’d have to put in a tiny effort to find a PoA’er at Oshkosh. Usually they are in a camouflage of cargo shorts and tshirts with walking shoes.

I think Whitney was a product of another members very creative imagination.

My guess is Bryan.

Had a nice, sentimental touch, too. You would take her home to meet your family. If you could get past her dogs first. And first fly your Bonanza in and out of that 1400 ft strip in the dark, lit by fires at each end. I was starting to have feelings.

For @EdFred ? Oh wait, he’s got a Comanche.

Say hi to sheriff Longmire and Starbuck for me.

Bryan hadn't been around long enough to get some of the references "Whitney" liked. Had to be someone much 'older' as far as PoA history goes.
