What is nose wheel straightener?

It is simply part of the mechanism that straightens the nose wheel as it is retracted to fit into the wheel bay. I doubt it’s called that in the maintenance manual

Those eBay guys can get pretty creative in their listings
Have noticed that, Craigslist too. I’ve become pretty leery of internet listings as a whole lately, as it seems like there’s more scammers than anything nowadays. :(
 
I thought this was going to fall under the realm of the Stanley board stretcher…
 
I see these listed for sale. What are they, how are they used? Are there different ones for different planes? Is it only a cessna thing?
they are used after a airplane driver wants to land the aircraft @ a higher than recommended rate of speed.o_O
