I think the combination of cheap video cameras and the internet has had some real negative consequences such as this sort of asshat stunt. Scaring your passengers as some sort of joke and possibly giving them a very negative image of aviation is not what we need.

Knowing my luck, were I to try something that ... incredulous ... the pax would seize the controls and put us in a death spiral.
