That would be a guard chicken. They are specially trained to follow people and attack if they try to steal anything.
 
Nice. On my to-do list is a visit to Charleston, WV to see where my family lived from the late 1700s until the early 1900s. Hoping to find some traces of the family there. Had no idea until just a few years ago that we had any connection to that area at all.

A prominent feature of this place is this four sided monument with some Farlow history on it.

That is an interesting memorial. I'll check out the other three sides when I get back down that way.
