Same here, bud.
We went to drive to lunch at around 2. The thermometer on the van parked int he sun read 83 degree F. Parked it in the shade in on the south side of the east-west street front of the *cough* restaurant. When we left it read 53 degrees.

Ridiculously warm out today for October. I was warm in the plane. Last night it was 53 degrees on the ground and 63 in the pattern.
Two years ago I flew to Mackinac Island (Michigan) and enjoyed this same kind of unseasonably warm weather while viewing the fall colors in October. A week later they had 6 inches of snow.

I flew to Mackinac Island (Michigan) for weekend on one of the first green, warm days of Spring. They had snow piled up 6-8 feet and I was stuck there 2 extra days due to lake effect snow from Lake Superior. The Island was like "The Shining," only there were a handful of people there.
