I just moved to Kirkland, WA (downtown) and am trying to figure out what my flight training options are. As best I can tell, my realistic options are Paine Field, Renton, and Harvey Field (Snohomish). Any recommendations? Are there any other airports on the East side that I should know about? I didn't see many options beyond those.

AWO has a good school at AFS.
PAE has Northway Aviation
And My friend teaches in his 170-A at PAE.
Spencer's at Thund Field has a school too.

Thanks. AWO and Thund Field are quite a long haul from Kirkland though.

I would go to Harvey in a heartbeat. Good management, down-home atmosphere. If I had begun my instructing career anywhere else I would not have had the opportunity to fly so many different makes and models of aircraft (including a 1929 Monocoupe that was almost as old as I was). Received my commercial, instrument, and CFI there.
