I am not monetizing anything, trying to draw attention my channel, selling anything...
I know that is a point of contention lately.

I am actually spending money for this to happen.

With that out of the way. I am "Attempting" to do an online virtual aviation trivia night.
It is on my channel but you don't have to like or subscribe or share.

We came up with 3 rounds of 20 questions each.
Round 1 is simple Q&A.
Round 2 is Identify that aircraft.
Round 3 is a bit more fun multiple choice (Wrong answer only).

If you are stuck inside and want to have some fun or watch a disaster unfold, I welcome you.
Spencer Suderman will be helping and Josh from Aviation101 will be dropping in as well.

Sorry if anyone thinks this is soliciting. We just want to have some fun.

I Need to find a more realtime way to do this.
I think that will mean using zoom or gotomeeting. Youtube is a terrible platform for realtime interaction.

We knew there would be a delay on our side but the inconstancy between individuals watching was unexpected.
I pulled up the stream on my computer and my wife's during the stream and the 2 viewers were 4 seconds apart.
 
Might make it more obvious in your post that it is actually a you tube thing. I didn’t catch that memo until late.
 
I randomly came across the trivia while going down a youtube wormhole. hopefully you guys do it again next Saturday.
 
While YouTube might not be the best for interactive trivia, the Q&A and general messing around worked great. Fun stuff. Thanks for putting all that together.

Br(y)an, my wife and I really enjoyed the show. She isn't interested at all in aviation, but has come around lately to watching some of the YT videos with me. I think having your wife there was a big asset.
 
Didn't see this until today (Monday). Hopefully will do it again.

And Braniff, Greg. Braniff also operated Concorde, and with all-Braniff crews and Braniff flight numbers, between DFW and IAD.
 
Yeah I remember now that you mention it. But that wasn’t one of the answers.
 
Didn't see the trivia video until I was trawling YouTube on Sunday. Echoing the sentiments that hopefully you will do it again. And with no idea of complexity or cost, Twitch seems to be a good option for the format.

I think we're going to do it every other week on my channel just to not saturate the live streaming thing which everybody seems to be doing.

this weekend we're going to do a much shorter version wrong answers only trivia on Spencer's channel. Details to come on that
