I am Not trying to pimp my YouTube channel. I don't post my videos here anymore. If it feels that way, go ahead and delete this.
I got to do a lot of aerobatics in St. Augustine Florida last week and it was a tremendous amount of fun albeit completely out of my comfort zone.
My confidence was pretty high up until we got in the plane. Of course right?
Maneuvers I liked: Aileron Roll, Loop, Barrel roll, Immelmann, Split S and half Cuban
Maneuvers that are terrifying: Snap Roll, Invited Spin, and sustained inverted flight. What an unnatural feeling being suspended by a lap belt.
Biggest surprise was the sounds. You can hear the airflow shifting around the plane during different maneuvers.
We went through all of the gopro footage and the wing cam picks up the change in sound as airflow lifts off the top wing surface and then stops during accelerated stalls.
Every pilot should experience some form of this once.
Thanks and sorry if this feels like self promotion. Not the intent.
