Vegas: KVGT - IFR or VFR?

Going to Vegas (North) KVGT tomorrow. Anyone flown in? Should I file IFR to be escorted in by ATC through the Bravo or just go VFR and hope for Bravo clearance? Looks like I can barely clear Bravo 2000’ AGL and sneak in VFR up against the hills…but not easy. Any recommendations?

You can ask for the rocks 2 arrival, it is on the Vegas TAC. I thought it was interesting.

First thought is to just file IFR. Which direction are you coming from? I'm on and out of KVGT several times a year, from the north, never really any problem coming in IFR. Once in awhile I'll get a short delay vector for Nellis miltary traffic, but not a big deal.

How was it? I've only flown into VGT once from KSLC while VFR. Being on FF made everything automatic. Vegas approach was super helpful ... hope you had the same experience!
