Up up down down left right left right B A start!

When I clicked on the thread I though you were trying to bring back a SNES game cheat code.

Had me going....

Nowadays, to 'cheat', you have to crack the source code, re-upload it to your system and force the OS to accept the cracked game code to let you play.

Crazy...
 
Cheats were sometimes the best part of the game. I remember the joy I got when I learned the "100man trick" on Super Mario. Then we learned the code for Mike Tyson's Punch Out to immediately fight Tyson.

Then in Sega's Double Dragon how you can play cooperative to beat the game and save the girl.

Those were the days....

I seem to remember that too. I thought I fooled around enough with different spots that I found it would work against a pipe too.
 
It works in 2 places. IIRC World 3-1 and 8-2.

I Haven't played my SNES sim in awhile...need better controllers. If I invested some time into that, I could call the old neighborhood fellas over and have an all nighter Super Tecmo Bowl party for old times sake.
 
I prefer the original tecmo bowl on NES. more than 4 play options gets too complicated for me
 
Bo Jackson was unstoppable in that game.
 
The first cheat code I learned:

On the bowling game that came with an MAI/Basic4 Computer - If you typed in farquart as your name you threw a strike every time.

This was in 1983.

no no no no...up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, start gives 30 lives. pressing "select" before "start "will simply make it 2 player (both with 30). Contra is my alma mater. also, its NES, unless super NES had the same game with the same cheat...
OK, so in some stereotypical way I too am a nerd...oh well.
