After six (!) years, I'm getting ready for another round of panel work.

I'm considering:
* remove Hobbs (in glovebox)
* remove MP
* replace oil pressure/oil temp with EI
* replace tach with EI
* maybe: remove DG
* maybe: replace voltmeter/ammeter with EI

Extra credit: below the piano keys is an array of fuse holders, wired together in a weird daisy chain; I might have that reworked into CBs with a proper buss bar.

What say you?

If you're replacing the engines gauges with EI (CGR30P I take it?) then you can also ditch the G2 Insight and maybe the clock as well.

But if you're considering the DG removal, does that mean you're going extreme VFR? If so, the TC and VSI can go as well.

Also, what's that tiny little thing between just above the N-number?

I was thinking EI R1 + VA1A + OPT1.

I'd keep the AI/TC/VSI. I have been tempted on occasion to remove the venturis and put in an RC Allen digital AI, but that is a bridge too far.

Sigh. Aileron trim indicator. Another thing that needs to go away... some day.
