Stumbled across this TAF for Pueblo, Colorado for today at 1200MST:

15-Dec 12:00PM LIFR 280° 60 kt Scattered 10,000
VIS 0.5 miles. Winds gusting to 85 knots. Blowing dust.

No current winds available, The Anemometer gave up a couple of hours ago, and has likely departed for points east.

I don't know what the wind was last night, but the wind blew a cinder block off my porch.

My porch is flat, not sloped.

Well ... for me Friday is a no go day ...

Earlier today, the KBJC decoded Metar was "Wind from the W (270 degrees) at 64 MPH (56 knots; 28.8 m/s) gusting to 84 MPH (73 knots; 37.6 m/s)" and I heard that later, the weather station got blown down!
Saw some Facebook pics of GA aircraft pretty much catching air while still tied down. The flight school uses the steel cable hooked into the ground - each cable anchors several airplanes, so glad there were no failures.

What you didn't want to be this guy? We were watching this happen live. Word is he landed safely, but why I have no idea.
