WASHINGTON--Federal agents have been checking out Martha's Vineyard as the Obama family mulls a summer vacation there. The Boston Globe is reporting that the family rented a home in Oak Bluffs the last weeks of August.

So, that means that the FAA will do something stupid like launch a TFR for MVY, ACK and the Cape a no fly zone, Arrgh!!!

If you center on KMVY, the 15nm no-fly zone would close:

KMVY Martha's Vineyard
1B2 Katama
5B6 Falmouth
one private airport
one private seaplane base

The restricted 30nm ring would also include:
KACK Nantucket
KEWB New Bedford Regional
2B1 Cape Cod
KHYA Barnstable
three private airports
two private seaplane bases

Depending on where on the island it's centered, the following could also be affected:
KCQX Chatham
KPYM Plymouth
KTAN Taunton
1M8 Myricks
KOQU Quonset
KUUU Newport

All that despite the fact that over half the TFR would be over water (it actually reaches out to the CONUS ADIZ).
