Why oh why, or better yet when, will UAvionix develop something that interfaces with Foreflight to create a navigator?

The TailbeaconX has WAAS, the AV30 can display a heading bug and soon will be able to drive an AP, so why not integrate flight plans and approaches from an iPad and marry everything up?

If all the components could "talk" via Bluetooth, WiFi, and wire (beaconX to AV30) any old Joe could have an IFR-capable WAAS-enabled, AP-enhanced system available around $15K.

I have faith. I love that the AV30 is upgradable. Fingers crossed!

Unfortunately creating an IFR navigator is significantly more complex than their first few products (UAT, Transponder, poorly working ADI/HSI). They're clearly learning and improving, so maybe it's in the 10 year future?
