Why don’t you draft and submit to the FAA a suggested regulation with all of the possible permutations for who needs to go through the process and who doesn’t? Just don’t run us out of 1s and 0s.

One would think that the companies trying to sell these to farmers would be set up to help them through this process.

Aerial application, be it by drone, or manned plane is regulated. The FAA and other federal agencies have decided it is in the public interest and it is within the purview of the enabling legislation from congress for them to do so.

I haven’t had a chance to talk with my neighbor for a few days, I’ll ask. But I’m pretty sure he said the dealer did provide some of this type of support.

What percentage of laws/regulations do you think prohibit you from doing something that you would otherwise do?
