When I was in the USAF (28 yrs ago) they would fly into the base where I was stationed. They would chase it with a truck and hang wheels on the end of each wing as it was rolling out. They always appeared unstable on the ground. It was an impressive spy plane. The one I liked was the SR-71. I once watched a SR-71 perform a private air show for a general. It sure looked like mach 2+ going over the field.
