Need suggestions for Tulsa this weekend. I will be there for a conference at the Marriott Southern Hills not far from Richard Jones...need ramp space for and couple of nights tie down for my Arrow and fuel...any suggestions from this group of experts...

Christiansen Aviation is going to be your best bet. They have plenty of ramp and/or hangar space available if you need it. KRVS is one of the busiest airports in the nation by landings/takeoffs due to a lot of flight training ops based on the field. There's also Riverside Jet Center with tie-downs/hangars, but I can't speak to their pricing vs Christiansen.

Oh yes, you did PM me. My bad. Very glad I could help both of you out. I'm in the process of buying a 182 now. When I get her, I'll fly up and see you fellas.

Pardon the momentary thread hijack everybody.

Contacted Christianson all seems like a nice place...thanks

Christiansen will take good care of you. They're not the cheapest fuel in the area but RVS is close and convienent to the Marriott, shopping, and food.

You can go north on Elwood out the gate and it'll take you all the way to 71st then go east accross the river to the hotel. West on 81st or 71st one mile toward US75 will take you to Tulsa Hills shopping center.

Riverside (Jones Jr) is a great airport!

Hey Daniel! I haven't seen your name around much, lately. Still flying with CAP?

I still keep up with most of the forums, just haven't posted much in a while.

I haven't done anything with CAP in a couple of years and let my membership expire last year. I had several life events happening one after the other and just couldn't make the committment it takes to stay current & active.

Christiansen is where I always park. I fly to KRVS quite a bit. I always call to confirm what I need the afternoon before departure but I tend to do that every place I go.

Where on the airfield are they located?

The "jet center" is just south of the approach end of Rwy 31 and taxiway Alpha in the west side of the airport. If you are in a smaller aircraft, they may just have you tie down at "Lease-a-plane" which is just north of the tower at midfield of Rwy 01L/19R on the west side. Either location is off of taxiway Alpha and is easy/quick to get to.
