It hit 95 at SEA today and I don't think it was any cooler at OLM. I had the C-172N reserved after work, so it was time to climb to cooler air and go sightseeing. OLM-FHR-OLM, 2.3 hours on the Hobbs, great way to relax after work. And the folks at SEA approach and NUW approach were their usual helpful selves. I love flying here.

The pictures are PWT, 0S9, Mt Baker, NUW, Whidbey Island, the Olympic Mountains, 75898 as it appears today (new paint) and 75898 as it appeared up until early this year (and when I soloed in it in 2000).

Didn't take any pictures while I was flying in the San Juans as I was busy setting up to land, departing and watching for traffic. More planes in the air there than anywhere else on the trip.

Man, you flew for so long, the plane changed color!

Excellent pics, and an excellent means of mental therapy.

Man Ghery, somehow Colorado and the Pacific NW switched weather. The visibility looks great up there. I tried to do some IFR training this morning, and once we got off the end of the runway I looked out to the west to where the Rockies should have been and they weren't there. So much for the standard 100 mile Colorado visibility. We actually had to cut the lesson short, because we were worried we wouldn't make it back for our day jobs (we were on top of a very low very thin layer of clouds/fog).
