too cute

Yep...that's pretty much how I feel when I fly, too...

Smart girl. Note the correct usage of the word "literally"...

That was fun to watch. Very cute, bright and imaginative little girl. She's got a great head start on a career as YouTube influencer!!

I stopped flying when my children were young which, after watching that video, made me wish I hadn't. I've recently given all three of my children aerial tours of Charlotte. They thoroughly enjoyed their first flights with me, just not quite to the level of enthusiasm as that little girl...so cute.

Love it, super sweet girl! Something she will remember for the rest of her life. Dad will too. Never got to fly my kids but have taken my granddaughter a few times now. I hope she stays interested in it so I can teach her to fly one day.

Now how come if I exude that same kind of joy and put it on YouTube there would be a completely different response. Doesn't quite seem fair.

I'm thinking your innocence is long gone. Probably why.

Some of the most memorable flying was with my daughter when she was 4-5 years old. Pre-k was over at 10:30 and we would go for our $100 sticky-bun across the Chesapeake bay or to the beach. Usually she would pass out on the way back.

So where is Lake Washington? I've never heard of it and cannot find it on maps.google.com.

no idea, although google says it's in.........wait or it............washington.

LOL. I cannot find "Highland Vista" either. If he didn't mention Monroe, I wouldn't think this flight occurred in Charlotte.

Seattle. It is the home of unlimited hydroplane racing, and where those boats were first created.

It's also the base of a huge seaplane population, with more than a few people that have homes on the lake with docks for their seaplanes. Renton airport, where Boeing's 737 manufacturing facility is located, is at the south end of the lake. Kenmore Air is based at the north end of the lake.

Monroe is a city NW of Seattle and Redmond. You've heard of Redmond? ;)

Highland Vista is a subdivision in Snohomish County, WA.

Ugh....maybe the girl's name is Charlotte and not where the flight occurred :(

East side of Seattle. I-5 on the west, I-405 on the east. Both the 90 and 520 bridges cross it.

Monroe (the WA version) is a smallish but growing town East of there at the foothills of the cascades. Rapidly becoming a suburb of the greater Seattle area.

Gotcha. Thanks. Charlotte, NC has a Monroe Executive Airport on the south east side of town. I assumed, probably given eman1200's location, this was a local video.

It is wonderful and one of my favorite videos!

But I tend to have the same problem that Jim Croce had in his song "Operator."

Gotcha. I was bracing for a message at the end of the video that said it was a "Make a Wish" flight.

Oh no! Sorry if that was the impression. I just get a bit emotional as she begins clapping after the take-off and then holds her arms out to fly ...

Great video! I was afraid her headset was going to fall off, though; thankfully it didn't. Dad should invest in a better fitting child's headset.

My grandson is a bit older than she is, but I hope he enjoys flying as much as she seems to once our schedules and the weather align.
