I saw this also this morning. It makes me very sad as he was a class act and someone who I really enjoyed listening to. I was wondering about him recently as I hadn't seen nor heard from him for a while. Too bad, there aren't many like him around.
He's one of the few who did his job as assigned but with honor. He was an objective journalist yet still passionate about doing the task assigned by Bush. I'm sorry to see him leave us so soon.
"Churchill said, 'I like a man who grins when he fights,' and that was Tony Snow," Boehner said. "For 35 years, as a writer, broadcaster, and spokesman, he fought fiercely for what he believed in, and he did it with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. His loss is a loss for our country."
God bless Tony and his family. He truly seemed like one of the good guys.
Tony Snow, a conservative writer and commentator who cheerfully sparred with reporters in the White House briefing room during a stint as President Bush's press secretary, died Saturday of colon cancer. He was 53.
I just went in for my screening I'm 53 put it off for 3 years everything was normal no issues thank god! Man it was simple I worried about nothing for 3 years so if you're like me go get it done! This cancer is 90% curable if found early!
