Sounds like one arm of the FAA has no idea what the other arm is doing.

From what I have learned he sold a few parts after the FAA rescinded the PMA.

and yes he is trying to get back on track.

I would hope that any parts made under the STC and before they recinded the PMA would still be valid evean if he sold them after the recended date. Otherwise any STC PMA that you have installed could be at risk to be to be recinded and you might have to prove the manufactured date and date sold. What a mess.
