I can't imagine the tension in households where spouses disagree on what action to take today. It must be unbearable. I am blessed in many ways, and one of those ways is having a wife who can discuss options, pros, and cons with me politely and intelligently, and even agree to disagree amicably when we can't find common ground.

Fortunately, today's major decision found us in agreement.

That comes about 30 minutes after the result of our first discussion.....gotta get her a little more receptive for something THAT important.....

At least she didn't say "bye Don" - that got trumped by the taste of a Bloody Mary. For me, since it's taco Tuesday, I think margarita is in order.
 
My spouse and I are in agreement, though if we weren't I'd try and find a way to make some middle ground. Politics really isn't the most important thing in the world. As an example, there are lots of pilots who feel very very different than I about the current political situation. But when we meet we are friends. Being around my brother pilots is way more important than politics.

Yeah, I would prefer neither, too. But I had to pick someone. Would have been nice if someone like Colin Powell had been in the lineup. Wouldn't matter which party he ran under.
