Does anybody know the current wait time for decision once your files reaches the federal air surgeon in DC? I am sitting at 90 days in DC and 11 months total. Thanks

90 days is not bad…11 months is pretty bad unless there has been a bunch of back and forth. You could call you’re local congressman and ask them to submit a congressional inquiry on your behalf. They should be happy to do it….and I’ve heard that it CAN actually work to get the FAA to “notice” your file. Definitely worth a shot in my eyes.

@bbchien Another question for you, although I am pretty sure I know the answer... Will the FAS bounce back to you for additional information or are files sent there only when ready for determination?

Mine was sent to DC in October so going on 4 months now.
