The Aurora Borealis is really cool in that video. I’ve seen it from below but not from above. I always thought I could reach out and touch it, it seemed so close. Seeing this video, I’m not so sure I couldn’t.

Also, I have heard it said that there are approximately 1,500 thunderstorms across the globe at any given time. I believe it based on the short slice of earth represented by the video.
