Is the display integrated with the radar and weapons systems so you can track and shoot down Cherokees?

Maybe track but Cherokees can always dive away from the lowly Cezzna.

Because it's a portable device, no approvals are necessary

I wonder if the FAA agrees with this theory. I hadn't read yet that it's being offered by the manufacturer as an add-on at initial purchase. I just thought it was something you could buy and stick on the dash, so to speak. But I have a sneaking suspicion the FAA isn't going to entirely agree with the above assessment. Or maybe it's fine because it's just relaying information from approved systems?

In the latest Steveo video, he rides along with a hot Cessna demo pilot with this HUD. I was not impressed, with the HUD that is.

all its doing is a mirroring of the screen. you can put whatever u want on the glare-shield , like the portable ADSB receivers or some of those old PCAS systems. but if Cessna is installing in new A/C that might be diff. worst case they might need a NORSEE approval

There are few people I'd like to such places with. Steveo is one of them.

With synthetic vision, HUD, ADSB and AOA no need for looking out at all. I am going to replace my windshield with a 65 inch curved OLED screen from samsung and be done with it. .... can I NORSEE it?
