. . . there are those who seem to have a ho-hum attitude about it.

Would one of those gulls be named Jonathan Livingston?;)

Lovely photo, by the way...

I think this one is Jonathan. I took a series of shots yesterday.

There's a show not to miss, if it ever comes your way:
Seven Deadly Sins

It's running for a few more days at The Farnsworth Museum, Rockland, Maine. I saw it
last Wednesday. Jamie Wyeth, with whom I grew up -- summers -- back home in Cushing, Maine. Jamie was doing a "Signing."
It was good to see him again.

The whole show is sea gulls, and very LARGE. One of the paintings is probably 12 to 14 feet tall and about 4 feet wide.
I asked him if he painted it while on a ladder; he said no, he painted it while it was lying on the floor. Spectacular exhibit!

If you Google Seven Deadly Sins a review will probably come up; inclusion of his name may or may not be needed in the Google request.
EDIT: Google Seven Deadly Sins - Jamie Wyeth?

Oh yeah..that other team in Pennsylvania that DIDN'T win the Stanley Cup...

I'd sorta forgotten.

:cool2:

Like I'd forgotten about the Pirates. Who won the World Series last year and is currently SEVEN games in first place in the NL East? ;)

+1

D**m Anthony - you beat me to the punch by 2 minutes!! Wait, you sure were talking about them Pirates? :dunno:

And speaking of flyers, I'm good for another two years; quickly passed my AME visit this morning. And the good doctor said he's glad he sold his "Place" on the Eclipse 500 List while the timing was appropriate to have made a good profit on "getting out."

We keep the pahrats in Pittsburgh so we can have something to do in PNC Park while we wait for fireworks.

If the Pirates were in a pennant race, Hines Ward's knee would still get top billing in the sports section.

Phildelphians should know better than to compare sports prowess with Pittsburgh, the City of Champions.

You have the fictional Rocky.

We have....

Yeah, but you still have to live in........Pittsburgh.

So whaddaya yins all doin out there? Pittsburgh is just another part of Ohio.

:D

Yes I did laugh. :D

I assure you Chester County PA shares nothing with South Joisey. I only go there to visit my family "down the shore". I absolutely abhor that state.

And now that we thorughly hijacked Harley's thread, my work is done here....

Dan, I won't tell about NJ if you don't. :cheerswine:

Gary, we need to get to a Phils game. Maybe a POA Phillies night out with the guys.
