Peace at last...
Like the Memorial Day says, "for those who fought for peace, and found it..."
It's sad that he never found a new server to keep his "Old Man's Journal" alive. It should be required reading for anyone thinking "why should I buy my own airplane?".
Sounds like "Old man" "Bo Boggs might be worthy of a "Gone West" sticky or some sort of a tribute thread where he and others can live on through their words and our musings. What say you, Moderators?
Rest in Peace, Old man. You obviously inspired many.
Watch this space...
I'm sorry to hear this. I only knew him through his posts on POA, but he seemed like one of the good ones. RIP. I hate cancer.
Well crap. Bo was one of the good guys, a true gentleman. Will miss him and his stories. We did a toast to Bo tonight at the Wings pre-dinner.
RIP and tailwinds.
That was an enjoyable afternoon with Bo and Sandra. I still have those video clips that he shot of us taking off.I met Bo and Red at Cedar Mills Marina airport several years ago when Diana and Barb made good on their promise to come hang out with the Texas folks.
I didn't know about his blog at the time but found them both to be delightful company as we watched the gals land, walked to the restaurant for lunch and then returned to watch the departure. It didn't take long to know that they were good people and great ambassadors for GA.
Tailwinds, Bo.

When I was visiting Dallas several years ago, I met Bo and Sandra at their hangar and he showed me his "mouse" and they shared stories of their flying adventures. He loved that airplane.
Condolences to Sandra, and to his friends and family. He was a good man and a great ambassador for aviation.
Speaking of Bo's Mouse.... he was trying to sell it to a young couple when Spike and I visited with him a few weeks ago. Sandra told us the sale fell through. So if anybody here is interested in Bo's Mouse, let me or Spike know, and we can help you get in touch with Sandra.
