Lest we forget ...

45 years ago this Sunday afternoon, the second leg of the longest dual flight by humans yet made a stop. The artwork below is a true negative I made from the original artwork used to etch the plaque. The other photo shows a VERY young, two weeks after graduation, newest engineer on the project three years before the flight. I was being shown where that plaque was going to be nailed.
