An envelope? Where's the monkey???

The envelope is hermetically sealed using some sort of classified military technology.

I believe there is also some sort of wireless technology embedded which instantly sends Sac an alert if it is tampered with.

I also question the envelope, and have informed PETA and Sea Shepard foundation about this cruelty to said poor monkey. I expect you'll see the Bob Barker up the Petaluma River soon.

An envelope? Where's the monkey???

As you can clearly see through our use of advanced technology, the monkey is doing great.

Lets see the monkey in the photos!!!!

Well, he better hurry here. Lest he get confused with Santa's arrival on 11/28...

 I used to push 2 up gravel barges up the river to Con Agra from the Dutra quarry at San Raphael, getting through the railroad bridge at the top was interesting. Never took Santa though. Used to have wake boarders crack the whip on my bow wake.

I have been told a sweet Asian chick is the prize, but who knows these days.

That RR bridge just got replaced. There's a new commuter train service in the works (Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit - SMART). As part of the track upgrades, they needed to replace the bridge. So, in a rare example of government ingenuity, they purchased a slightly used one from Galveston, TX and just completed installing it. Instead of swinging which pinches the river at the fulcrum, it lifts straight up. The river should be wider at that point now. Now if we can only get the Army Corp to get dredging...

I've always wondered why the Army ended up in charge of waterways and dams. Just an oddity.

Agreed. But, interestingly the Vietnwmese Army has taken on resort projects in Vietnam. It's funny to drink beers with these guys but none of us have connection with the war closer to our fathers.

Update: The monkey has been planning furiously for his big cross country from Petaluma (O69) to Las Vegas (KVGT) tomorrow. He told me that he's had all the granola eating, tree hugging, Prius-driving Californians he can handle and is really looking forward to some quality time in Sin City.

I tried to take him to In-N-Out burger for lunch for a farewell to California meal but he started going on about how "Sac Arrow won't let me eat burger buns...". So I just ditched the idea all together. We did stop at the gym on the way home and he showed me how to properly select a piece of cardio equipment for the proper views.

We also talked a little about planes. I'm trying to slowly warm him up to the idea that, when he leaves Las Vegas, he's going to be in a plane with wings in the wrong place. I think that's going to freak him out a bit. But he's a trooper. I don't think he's going to sleep a wink tonight he's so excited.

aaawwww yeaahhhh, monkey's goin to vegas!!!!!! have fun!

He's also headed toward real winter. Of course it'll probably be gone by the time he gets here.

You don't get out much, do you?

Nice, because with 2 barges I was right at 780' long, and getting it lined up coming out of the curve was always interesting especially since I had to be on an incoming tide to get in and then out again. That bridge came damned close to getting an early replacement one afternoon.

:needpics:

Okay, maybe not useless, but it'd be cool to see actual pics of "Sirius George", outside of the envelope with the various locations as a backdrop.

Whoa cowboy, that's an invitation for monkey loss. It has been proven through the improv TSA body scanner that the monkey is in fact resident.

Oh, by the way, the monkey has not fully explained that Inn & Out's burgers can be had with lettuce wrap. Ask for "protein style."
