A couple of weeks ago Hunter Haley organized a fly-in to my home base of Taylor T74. There was such a nice turnout, we were running out of tie-down spaces!

As usual from you, great pics! Thanks for sharing.

Ah...I know some of these pics from IG! Really enjoyed your shots of the Clip-T in the latest issue of Sport Aerobatics, btw.

Thanks! I had to meet someone, so I didn't get to spend any time with these guys for lunch, but had to take some photos.

The Maule is based locally and he hasn't had it long. He bought it in Canada, flew it back and then had to have the engine overhauled and some of the paint fixed, so he's really flying it now! I'm going to try to get some air-to-air photos of it soon.

Thanks Stearman. I really like posting on Instagram. It's instant gratification. I post and watch all of the likes start pouring in! The Clip-T was at Blakesburg and when I shared the photos with the owner, Trevor Niemyjski, he told me they were going to publish a story about him and asked if he could use some of my photos. Yep! Very cool plane.

Yes, I want to know too! Great pics! Where in Texas are you? I'm in Fort Worth. How do I get looped in on your fly-in notification list?
Thanks!

Near Austin, in Taylor. I fly up that way quite a bit though with several friends in Mesquite. Are you on Facebook? If so, friend me there and also like my Texas Fly-Ins page. I keep it updated.

I updated my signature to have links to all of my pages.

Is that a Cessna 210 with a RR Turbine? Wow - never seen that.

Yeah, I thought it was interesting. We have another P210 with a turbine on the field, but I don't know what engine. It's always strange to hear it fire up and look for the jet or helicopter!

Those are fantastic photos of a nice assortment of planes! I'd love to make that fly-in next time.

I would say it's a Thorp. Only polished one I've ever seen!

Thanks for the compliments on the photos. On the fly-ins, most of time they're just random fly-ins setup here on POA or on FB. This one had a great turnout. Our big fly-ins are coming soon, when we'll have Fort Parker, Critter's Lodge, Ranger, Under-the-Wire, and Reklaw to name a few! That's when I get thousands of photos!

I got to meet Jack on Saturday in person. Nice fella with a dang shiny airplane. Worst part is my eyes still aren't adjusted. I should have worn two pairs of sunglasses to look at his shiny 140. I need a white cane today.

LOL, you'll notice I wear shades in the hangar! Nice to meet you too. Now I'm thinking we should get a group together and do some air-to-air photos.

Don't offer twice because you will regret it if I bring you two dozen planes. :)
LOL, I don't mind, but we only have so much time. To get the best photos, it's 30 minutes before sunset or 30 minutes after sunrise. If I can get someone to be the photo plane, where I can just turn around and focus on the photography, we could get quite a few knocked out in that amount of time! We'll talk.

That polished aluminium Thorp is badass!

Completely agree. I had to go do a photo shoot for a friend... now I'm kicking myself for not getting a few more shots of the Thorp first. :-(

The Thorp is awesome. Can't imagine the work involved in keeping that thing shiny.

Love the Maule too. A guy here has one that looks exactly like it, and it puts skis on it in the winter time.

Beautiful pictures. Just gave you a follow on IG.
