Cow poop stinks.
Burning cow poop stinks worse.
Stepping in burning cow poop will ruin new boots.

-livestock
-wildlife
-2 humans, so far
-enormous amount of feed (livestock and wildlife)
-containment costs ($$)
-there is a huge and lengthy emotional impact which I think qualifies as a loss
