Okay, not trolling here, actual serious discussion. I've rarely had issues in life where I had to go so bad I couldn't hold it until I found a proper place to do so. But lately, in the last couple of years, the difference between 'I might need to go at some point' and s**** my pants can be measured in minutes. I actually have to plan my day like this. For example, I cannot, abolutely, eat a meal without having bathroom facilities right there afterwards. And yes, I've had some failures.

What the hell is wrong with me? Male, 50's.

May be normal gastrocolic reflex (stomach sending message to colon to open the bomb bay door and release pressure). Crohn's disease and some inflammatory intestinal disorders can also cause this. Have seen patients that state they eliminated sugar (they were HEAVY users) and had some success as well ... not sure on this, just passing the info ...

I'm trying to think of a word that begins with "S" and has four letters after it that describes what I think you are talking about. Besides that, what you are describing doesn't sound normal. Doc time.

Had a similar issue 40 years ago. Diagnosed with crohn's. See a doc now, it will save you a lot of misery.

So you want to be diagnosed by SGOTI rather than seeking a medical professional? o_O

Have you tried to get an appointment with your doctor recently?

Yeah, I'm reduced to that. Some of the responses have been informative.

I actually dated a girl my freshman year of college that had a similar set of symptoms. Turned out she had Crohn’s disease and was able to get surgery to help correct it. I would definitely go and see a doc. Ulcerative Colitis and IBS also come to mind.

Once you get your ass fixed, be prepared for the FAA to climb up there!

On a semi related note why is it the closer in proximity you get to the toilet the worse you have to go? You can hold it in the car for an hour then you get home and get within few feet of the bathroom and the turtle wants to poke his head out? :)

If you can't get in to see your doc, you might be able to talk him/her into a referral to a specialist that does have an opening.

Or at least some kind of telehealth appointment.

FWIW, Initially I thought you were posting about "Talking Smack" in this thread. Admittedly I was a little disappointed.

Oh and go see a dang doctor.

Ignore the responses which are making fun, and see a medical professional.
Unlike the internet, he or she will be professional.

I'm in my forties and have less of a tolerance for dairy as I have gotten older. It elicits some of the same symptoms you describe.

Actually, yes.... sent an appointment request via the patient portal Friday. Office manager called today to schedule appointment for this Wednesday. Easy, simple, done....

Whining to members of a pilot forum isn’t going to fix your problem.

I don’t see that he’s whining at all. He’s simply seeking advice from a community of pilots who may have gone through a similar situation - the whole purpose of this sub-forum. It’s actually quite embarrassing that many here are so fast to poke fun at the situation, instead of attempting to provide honest advice and/or be helpful.

If you ever do a POA lunch fly in at the Pic 'N Pig, you might not want to gobble down the brisket, beans and slaw before you take that long cross country back home.

Try standing on the street corner naked for a few hours, and ask opinions of everyone walking by.

Serious answer, don't go see a doc. Until you've quit drinking Starbucks coffee, that is. BTDT.
