I have ran across an old manual for a T 33a & I was wondering where I could check on the value of this. I'm not really looking to sell it, It's in excellent condition & really cool so I'm not dying to sell it just curious about it's value . . . or lack there of:wink2:. It appears to be from about 1960. Thanks in advance for any help.

Is it just a generic manual, or tied to a specific N-number? Is it a pilot's operating handbook / manual, or a maintenance manual?

I think value will depend on how badly somebody wants or needs it! ;-)

Let me say up front I am not a pilot so I'm not sure the difference between the manuals but it has a lot of wiring diagrams & exploded views of different parts & systems of the plane. Also it is a rather substantial manual being several inches thick with numerous different "sections" for lack of a better word. I don't think it is tied to a specific plane but I'm not sure how to tell. Like I said earlier I just think it's a pretty cool manual with some really cool illustrations in it & was just curious about it.

There's not many of them flying these days... Michael Dorn (Worf of Star Trek: TNG fame) has one. If you contacted him (through his agent?) or the National Air & Space Museum, they might be interested in obtaining it from you. Whatever you do, when you decide to get rid of it, please don't throw it away! Find an aviation museum to take it off your hands!

You can find a list of some of the extant planes and thus parties that might be interested in this Wiki article:

Thanks, I'll give that a shot & don't worry this one won't find the trash can. It can sit on my bookshelf from now on before that happens. Again, thanks for the info.
