Strobe problem

Greetings all, looking for any bright ideas to cure a strobe issue on a turbo 210L. Basically master on, strobes on...right wing flashes normally...left wing will either flash once at any switch movement (on or off), or it flashes at a rate of 3:1...that is, 3 flashes on the left to a single flash on the right. The left appears to be grounded properly, but can't figure out why it's flashing at triple speed. Any bright ideas?
