Stratus Horizon Pro app won’t open

I have the Stratus 2 and like to connect it to my phone (iPhone 6) for the AHRS function, so this app is a must (at least with Foreflight). I’m updated to IOS 12, confirmed my Stratus is current on firmware, and that there are no updates for the app, but when I try to open it I get the “APPAREO” screen for about 10 seconds then the app closes. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but no change. I’ve messaged APPAREO, but thought I’d swing through here too and see if anyone else has had or seen this issue.

ForeFlight is reporting app crashes on IOS 12 for “older” devices, in clouding the 6. They said they are working with Apple to find a solution.

FF crashed on my yesterday during a flight from Macon, GA to Clarion, PA. iPhone 6, IOS 12. No Stratus.
