Stratus ESG shut off in flight.

I have a Stratus ESG and a Stratus 3 in my 1965 Cherokee 140. This past week the ESG shut itself off near the end of a short flight. The 1st indication of a problem was message on my iPad "Stratus has disconnected". I was less than 10 miles from landing so looking out the window took precedence over troubleshooting. After landing I did a normal shutdown. I restarted the avionics master switch and only then saw that the ESG did not come on. Pressing the power switch started it and the Stratus 3. The return flight was normal as everything worked. Has anyone with an ESG had this happen?

I have had this happen several times using ForeFlight and my Stratux...I suspected some sort of wifi glitch or loss of gps integrity. Same result as you..next flight normal.
