I’d like to find about a 6-8” piece of MS20257-C5 hinge to use in a Cessna heater valve. The hinge is available commercially, but in lengths much in excess of what I need.

eBay has some for $50, more than you need but that’s fairly cheap as far as certified plane parts go.
 
Aircraft Spruce has 3' lengths for ~$20. Might pay more than that in shipping :) but sometimes they'll cut it and ship in a smaller package.
