Actually, I sort of remember that worldwide, it starts out 51% female 49% male. By the time you hit 70 it is more like 55% female, 45% male and the odds just keep getting better and better.

Saudi Pasha takes his son, favorite servant, and picnic lunch out from the castle a few miles. After father and son have had their lunch, the father asks the servant to go fetch one of his wives. Servant runs, gets a cart, pulls the cart with the wife riding inside out to the Pasha. Pasha enjoys the wife. Tells the servant to get another wife. Same. About the fourth wife, the servant falls dead of exhaustion at the Pasha's feet.

"Son", said the father, "I hope that taught you a lesson.". Son says, "What do you mean???? You ran your faithful servant until he was dead."

Father says, "Son, it isn't women that's going to get you, but running after them will.".

Yup

Wonder what ever happened to the engine back in 2016? Was it alright.

I have pressured washed many truck and car engines. I do leave them run while doing it that way if it stops running I have an idea where to look for the problem.

But I would never even think to do anything to a rental plane other than check the oil. Not even to squirt the mud off. No way would I think to use water into a air cooled cowl. I would have been a little upset also.

Yea... the odds for picking may be good, but the pickings may be odd..
 
Wow, 9 pages , can't believe I read them all.
 
Avid dirt biker here, myself and friends get our engines very hot, then ride into deep water regularly, it hasn't hurt an engine yet.
After a decent, and then parked 20 to 30 mins, its not all that hot any more.
A fire hose wouldn't hurt it, much less a garden hose.
Panicky people shouldn't instruct anyway.
To be a good flight instructor, requires calmness, and common sense doesn't hurt either.
In total I've flown with 6 instructors, 5 were great, but 1 was panicking over nothing, so i flew with him just once, never again.
Imagine how hot the brakes get on your car, then you hit a puddle.
