Congratulations to Spike Cutler in his new role at PoA, a fine lawyer, pilot and loyal friend.

Now I'm sure many of you are familiar with his current 'ride' and a fine aircraft it is too... however, over here in the UK, he still has, albeit in storage awaiting shipment these last 10 years, an all composite 4 seater, neat little thing, non retractable tricycle undercarriage. I bought it for him at the height of the dot-com boom. He has no hours on type but I'm sure he'll convert easily, it does fly from the right hand seat only but I think he'll adapt.

Now I'll admit his needs a bit more restoration than the one shown taking off in this video clip, but you get the idea. Over to you Spike.....

(I'm not kidding, I really did buy him one, it's still her I think!)

Just in case anyone is wondering, I am serious - I did buy it for him! Trouble is the garage (dealership) where I left it has changed hands three times since - AND it needed a new CoA after erm.... controlled flight into terrain!

At 3:15 in the Reliant Robin video, in the background it would appear they store 'em on their sides to save space.... :)

Um, did I miss something? Wut new role? :dunno:

Nik saw the announcement of my "new" role as a member of the MC.

The announcement is two years old, and Jesse and Greg have ascended to the lofty perch since then...

Y'know, I think we need a balloon-toted Reliant Robin at 6Y9...

...Nik's made a few aviation vids. I'll hunt one down.

That car gives a new meaning to the term "rolling"
