As the title reads, I know a few years ago there were still some hordes of oem parts around, anybody know of a place to find them. I’m looking for a set of crankshaft mains.

anybody know of a place to find them.
All my info is dated, but there is/was a guy in eastern NY north of Albany that had a good selection but can't find his name. He had his own airport if I recall. The other place I had success was Ebay. Was able to network through it also and found everything we needed. But this was about 6-7 years ago.

I can’t help with your question but what airframe is that engine on? I had a ‘38 Aeronca Chief with that engine on it at one time.

Just on a run stand at the moment, it’ll eventually end up in an experimental. I’ve got an approximately 65% completed cleansheet design based heavily on the shavrov sh-2 that it could work on but would be very underpowered, so most likely going to power a pietenpol. My sons are getting old enough to be good helpers, and I’d like to teach them to fly young so I need a second seat (my single seat minimax doesn’t cut the bill). A Piet is simple enough, and i have all the wood needed for a dozen of them, so figure it would make a good project.
