Source for Pilot Sunglasses - WalMart

Sharing a source - WalMart Optical - that worked well for me for new sun glasses. Got lenses that are working great and had a good experience: List of what I needed:

• Non Polarized
• Gradient Tint
• UV block
• Progressive Bi Focals

I found it odd that finding an optical shop that did non polarized took a bit of hunting around.

My experience was overall very good:
Two day turn around, people/optical techs who knew what I was looking for (the guy said "you must be a pilot"), knew how to take the pupil measurements, etc. I got "middle" level gray which was too light, and they re did them with darker tinting for no charge.

Cost for the lens was $150 (I used a frame I already had).

That is pretty good. My usual optician has no trouble getting non-polarized lenses, but each time it requires going through this routine: "and non-polarized" "you mean polarized" "no, I need them to be non-polarized" "that's not right, everyone wants them polarized" "no, I need non-polarized"... By the end of that little dance, they get the order right, so I can't complain.
