So I knew that y'all would appreciate these images. After my great uncle just passed, I was entrusted with some of the aviation images kept from his early childhood of some of my family.

Rather than get into a bunch of details, just enjoy the images!

Love it the days of early aviation

Very cool, thanks for sharing!

Thanks! Ya, when I saw these for the first time, I was giddy about it. Seeing those aircraft literally right after they were built and those companies were really just coming into their own is pretty cool.

It also makes me feel pretty cool that I actually have an aviation pedigree. Gives me some pride in knowing that.

Plus, could you imagine dressing up in your Sunday best to go flying every time? hehe

In a Cub with a suit, never see those days again. Nice.

Very nice. Always interesting looking at old photographs.

Great bunch of photos! Thanks a lot for posting them. :)

I need to remember to wear a suit and tie the next time I can snag a flight in a Cub.

Edited to add:

Also a Fedora.

Ok Jim, that's a deal pal! I'm gonna bring you a cub and we're gonna take pictures! :)
