I was afraid this nose art might be too big, but I think it came out just about right... :D

Looks good to me!

So, you fly people to your hotel now? lol

David

Looks great but I am thinking it will only be good for one water landing!!!

Is the Amphib in the nose art the plane you really want? Looks cool.

Funny you bring that up. I mocked this up, using Photoshop, both with and without the floatplane. Mary thought putting a floatplane logo on an RV might look goofy.

We ultimately decided that the hotel's logo should not be altered, and left the plane in it. I think it works.

When they come up with an all-composite float plane that I can land in the water a few blocks away, I will own one.
:D

They call that a Coleman ice chest. :)

(You didn't say you wanted to fly again, or how it got up there in the first place...!)

A hotel with a courtesy RV I love it. Looks good.

So, now every flight can be recorded as advertising expense? Genius!!

Be careful, it is probably already out there, what's the specs on your landing site?

Agreed, looks good!

I think the City of Port Aransas may object, but I would really like to land in the water, roll up onto the beach, and taxi a few blocks to the hotel. :D

I don't like it.

1) It's not the name of the plane.
2) You put a plane on a plane. You don't put a car on a car, or a house on a house. Why put a plane on a plane?

Ahem. Her name is "Amelia". :D

What next? A vinyl wrap on the wings with a sectional cum road map pin pointing the location?:D

Cheers

Then "Amelia's Landing" should be painted on the runway, not the plane.
Well, I dunno... if you can see it on the plane, either "Amelia's landing", "Amelia's taking off" or "Amelia's parked".

:D

He needs some quick change vinyl wraps. Or a magnetic sign. ;)

Shall we start an apostrophe war?

It looks like Amelia is landing. "Amelia's Landing"

Where the landing belonging to Amelia would be "Amelias' Landing".

Cheers

How many people named Ameila do you know? Do you think they are all landing at the same time, or, jointly own a landing?

Here's the plane you're looking for....

That's the general idea, but no twins for me, please.

Here's a twin that might just work...but it'd be a mighty step up from the RV :)

Unless you have a commercial rating, you can't charge guests for a flight, but suppose you had a few rooms that cost about a hundred bucks a night more than the rest, and they included a "free" airplane ride. Would that be cheating?

Well, Jay does offer a skydiving package: http://ameliaslanding.com/port_a_packages.htm

So not that much of a stretch to work out some stick time...

Correct. Amelia is Landing.
Where the landing belonging to Amelia would be "Amelias' Landing".
Not exactly. It would Amelia's Landing (a car belonging to John is John's car)

Amelias' Landing would be a landing belonging to multiple Amelias.
A room one of my sisters stayed in is my sister's room. A room two or more of my sisters stayed in is my sisters' room.

I like it. You didn't buy an RV....you bought a mobile marketing system for the hotel. Brilliant. And deductible!

Jay likes it, that's all that matters.

RV's are personalized to the owner's whim.

I have a gut feeling this "marketing" tool is far from over...

As I type this there is a good chance Jay is having vinyl cut decals being made to install on the bottom of the wings that say
