I assume this is because of the proximity to Oshkosh? I'm heading into KSBM tmrw morning... I emailed them yesterday, as I usually do, to get rental car stuff checked up on. They said "see ya friday".

Before I call - this NOTAM for TMPA is traffic mgmt program alert
What NTAP (notam?) do I see about the reservation required part?

First time for everything!

a little more googling and found this:
https://www.fly.faa.gov/estmp/

uhm hm... I've never done a slot res before.

The weather looks iffy - but not to minimums.. any advice on how to handle this?

File to KSBM with no reservation (will they let me) and cancel in the air?
File to a fix near SBM that should be VFR?

thanks,

Wow, I might have to upgrade my PC to use that website...

ETA: sorry, I don't have a real answer to your question.

It says you need an landing reservation during that time block. No confirmed reservation number, no confirmed landing slot.

The FBO may have a parking spot for you, but the tower may not have a runway landing slot for you during that time. The 26th of July until Aug 5th.

It applies to VFR or IFR.

There is no tower. Maybe thats why they only allow 4 per hour?

The website says:
[FONT=Arial, helvetica, sans-serif]This STMP will include all domestic non-scheduled IFR arrivals to the following airports:

Which leads me to believe that VFR into SBM is not affected by this.
