Skyhawk Down Cape Cod

Bravo to the pilot for getting the job done. I fly over those beaches regularly and often wondered how my nose wheel would make out if we needed to land on them.
 
Yeah, sadly we have few good options for emergency landing on the Cape. Cranberry bogs, golf courses, and beaches is about it. Everything else is trees, power lines, solar panels and packed parking lots. Just spoke with one of the A&Ps there...plane is back home in pieces and investigating the cause.
 
Looks like the pilot did a great job on landing on the sand.
